Manage your profile settings including, password, pin, security question, email, mobile, and username. View the step-by-step instructions in this article or download the guide below for detailed instructions on how to change all of your profile settings.
Change Password
- Log in to DCI
- Click Settings (person icon next to the username in the upper right corner of the main menu)
- Click Settings on the drop-down menu
- Click Change Password on the submenu
- Enter Current Password
- Enter New Password according to following password criteria:
- Must be at least 10 characters
- Must contain 1 uppercase letter, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
- Must not contain more than two repeated characters in a row
- The password should be different from the 3 previous passwords
- Password should not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters
- Enter New Password again in Confirm Password field
- Click blue Change Password button to complete the change
- Click Yes to confirmation alert window
- The password has been changed when the Password Changed Successfully message is displayed on a green bar
Forgot Password
- There is a Forgot your password link on the login page
- Web portal - Click the blue Forgot your password? hyperlink on the login page
- Mobile app - Click the blue Forgot Password? hyperlink on the login page
- Enter the email address and click Send Reset Email
- Locate the email sent by the system (support@acumen2.net) to reset the password
- Check spam if the email is not received in the inbox
- Click the blue Reset Password button in the email
- Please note: The Reset Password link will only be active for 24 hours
- After clicking the Reset Password button in the email, if the link is inactive, an alert will appear "Invalid Token. Click the resend the link or select the Resend the email button and proceed back to step 3.
- The Reset Password button will open the Security Verification page. The user will have the choice to verify either:
- The security question (security questions are case sensitive and must be entered exactly as when created) OR
- SSN (social security number) and DOB (date of birth)
- If unable to verify the security question or SSN and DOB, reach out to a supervisor or employer for assistance who can send a reset password email that will allow the user to reset the security question.
- Click the blue Verify button
- The Reset Password page will open. Enter the new password into fields Please enter password and Please confirm password.
- Hover over the i icon (help text) to display organizational password criteria
- Click the blue Reset button
- Please note: The Reset Password link will only be active for 24 hours
Add/Change PIN
Employee PINs can be used to log in to the mobile app and to clock in and out of the phone EVV system.
- Log in to DCI
- Click Settings (person icon next to the username in the upper right corner of the main menu)
- Click Settings on the drop-down menu
- On the submenu click either:

Add PIN if a PIN is not established in the system
- Once established, the Add PIN tab changes to Change PIN
- Change PIN to change the established PIN

Add PIN if a PIN is not established in the system
- Enter the password on the Verify Password page and click the blue Verify button
- Enter PIN
- For New PIN
- Enter a 4-digit PIN
- Confirm 4-digit PIN
- To Change PIN
- Enter new 4-digit PIN
- Confirm new 4-digit PIN
- For New PIN
- Click the blue Change Pin button and then Yes on the alert pop-up box to confirm
- The PIN has been added or changed when the Pin Changed Successfully message is displayed on a green bar
Change Security Question
Security questions are used when resetting a password or for other authentication details. Please be sure to select memorable questions and answers.
- Log in to DCI
- Click Settings (person icon next to the username in the upper right corner of the main menu)
- Click Settings on the drop-down menu
- Click Change Security Question on the submenu
- Enter the password on the Verify Password page and click the blue Verify button
- Select a security question from the drop-down list or select custom question to create a unique security question
- Enter the Answer
- The answer cannot match the username or password
- If the answer is on the commonly used password list, an alert will appear in red stating “The answer you provided was found on a commonly used password list and could be easily guessed. Consider using a different word or phrase.”
- To continue with the answer, click the checkbox for Use this answer anyway.
- Click Submit to save the security question
- The security question has been changed when the Security Question Changed Successfully message is displayed on a green bar
Change Email
Changing an email address requires a verification step for the new email by receiving and entering a verification code sent to the new email.
- Log in to DCI
- Click Settings (person icon next to the username in the upper right corner of the main menu)
- Click Settings on the drop-down menu
- Click Change Email on the submenu
- Current email address is populated
- Enter new email address
- Confirm new email address
- Click the blue Change Email button to save the new email
- Verification code field appears
- Change Email cannot be selected until the verification code has been entered
- The verification code is sent via a system-generated email
- Copy the verification code from the email
- Return to DCI and either paste or type the code into the Verification Code field
- Click the blue Change Email button and then Yes on the alert pop-up box to confirm
- The email has been changed when the Email Changed Successfully message is displayed on a green bar
Add/Change & Verify Mobile
Users must verify their mobile to be able to receive SMS text notifications. If the mobile is not verified, the notifications will be sent to the email and are available to view in the DCI messaging center. User can add or change their mobile number prior to verifying it. Additionally, after a user verifies their mobile number, the Verify Mobile submenu tab will update to Change Mobile, allowing users to users to update their own mobile number as needed.
Add/Change Mobile Number
- Log in to DCI
- Click the username in the upper right-hand corner of the page which is indicated with a person icon
- Select Settings on the drop-down menu
- Click Verify Mobile on the submenu
- If the mobile number has already been verified, a green bar will briefly appear with the alert, Your Mobile Number is already Verified and the Mobile field will be grayed out (unable to be edited).
- Enter (or change) the mobile number
- Click the blue Send Verification Code button
- A green banner stating "Your Verification Code is sent. Please check your registered Mobile Number" will appear.
- The user will receive a verification code via SMS text message. Enter the verification code into the Verification Code field.
- Click the blue Verify Mobile button
- A green banner stating "Your Mobile Number is Verified" will appear briefly
The mobile number is now verified and will receive SMS text message notifications
Verify Mobile Number
- Log in to DCI
- Click the username in the upper right-hand corner of the page which is indicated with a person icon
- Select Settings on the drop-down menu
- Click Change Mobile Number on the submenu
- Enter the new mobile number in the New Mobile field
- Click the blue Update Mobile Number button
- A green banner stating "Your Mobile Number is updated. Please verify mobile number" will appear
- Click the blue Send Verification Code button
- A green banner stating "Your Verification Code is sent. Please check your registered Mobile Number" will appear.
- The user will receive a verification code via SMS text message. Enter the verification code into the Verification Code field.
- Click the blue Verify Mobile button
- A green banner stating "Your Mobile Number is Verified" will appear briefly
The mobile number is now verified and will receive SMS text message notifications
Change Username
- Log in to DCI
- Click Settings (person icon next to the username in the upper right corner of the main menu)
- Click Settings on the drop-down menu
- Click Change Username on the submenu
- Current username is visible
- Enter New Username
- Click the blue Change Username button and then Yes on the alert pop-up box to confirm
- The username has been changed when the Username Changed Successfully message is displayed on a green bar
